Built for students who need recognised UK grades and stronger English
This intensive course is aimed mainly at international students who board with us. It works best for young people who have already covered most of their subject content at school in their own country.
Students are typically 15 or 16 years old when they start in September. Some come to open the door to UK A Levels, some to a vocational route, and some to continue their studies back home with qualifications that are recognised around the world.

Improving English is a central purpose of the course. English language and EAL support run through the timetable, in the classroom and in daily life in the boarding house.
Small classes mean teachers know each student well and can give the time that language progress needs. Living, studying and making friends in English every day helps that progress happen quickly and naturally.
