Gymnastics for every child, whatever their starting point
Among gymnastics schools in Devon, Kingsley offers a programme designed to inspire and nurture talent at every level. Our coaching team is committed to fostering a love for gymnastics in all our pupils, and to encouraging each gymnast towards higher levels of competition when they are ready.
Gymnastics promotes flexibility, strength and precision, and it builds the confidence and resilience pupils carry into the rest of school life. Beginners learn the fundamentals safely, while more experienced gymnasts work on technique and difficulty.
Each discipline set up in its own space
The Kingsley Family trains in our bespoke gymnasium, with specialised areas for floor displays, trampolines and a dedicated vaulting running track.
Alongside the gymnasium, Kingsley's fully equipped Fitness Suite gives gymnasts space for the strength and conditioning work that supports their skills and routines.

A qualified team with competitive experience
Kingsley is proud to have developed national and international gymnasts, and our coaches bring experience of competing, coaching and judging at county, national and international level.

Gemma Braunton
Level 2 Women's Artistic, Tumbling and Acro. Gemma competed at county, national and international level, and she also coaches at Falcons Gymnastics Academy.

Katrina Venner
Senior Club Coach in Women's Artistic and General, Club Coach in Tumbling and Acro, Coach in Trampoline and National Judge in Women's Artistic. Katrina has run the North Devon Schools' Gymnastics Competition for over 25 years and helps gymnasts prepare for competitions.

Sessions from Prep School to the Sixth Form
Gymnastics runs across the week. Prep School gymnasts train on Monday and Friday afternoons, and Years 7 and 8, Years 9 and 10 and Years 11 to 13 each have their own sessions from Tuesday to Thursday, including time within the school day.
In the autumn term, training runs twice a week ahead of the spring competition season. After the summer competitions, training continues so gymnasts can prepare and build new skills for the following year.
