From your first enquiry, a named member of our Admissions Team looks after you, answers your questions and helps your child picture a place here. The process of joining is warm, human and simple.
Dates through the year
A dedicated event for families joining in Year 7, and whole-school days for every age group. Each day includes tours led by staff and students, time with subject teachers, and the chance to meet our Headteacher, Mr Robert Pavis.

Four steps, and a real person walks you through each one

Complete the enquiry form. The online Admissions Enquiry Form takes a few minutes and tells us a little about your child.

We say hello. The Admissions Team, Melanie, Heather or Peggy, will call or email to talk through what you are looking for.

A visit and an optional taster day. We arrange a school visit, and a taster day so your child can spend time in lessons and activities before deciding.

Set up your Admissions Account. When you are ready, you set up an Admissions Account and complete the process with us alongside you.

Our Admissions Team stays with you from your first question to your child’s first day, so you never have to explain yourself twice.
Children join us from Nursery through to Year 13
We welcome enquiries at any stage and in any year group where we are able to. Our Sixth Form has its own route into Year 12, with its own conversation about A Levels, BTECs and what comes next.

Frequently asked questions
How do you apply to a private school?
At Kingsley you start by completing the online Admissions Enquiry Form. A member of the Admissions Team then contacts you, we arrange a visit and an optional taster day, and when you are ready you set up an Admissions Account to complete the process. There is no entrance exam.
What age can you start private school?
Children join Kingsley from Nursery through to Year 13, and we welcome enquiries at any stage where we have a place. Our Sixth Form has its own route into Year 12.
Is Kingsley selective?
No. We are proudly non-selective, so admissions here is about finding the right fit for your child rather than passing an entrance exam.
