Breakfast is unhurried, a chance to catch up with housemates before lessons. After supper, evenings are for leisure time and the recreational facilities in the houses, with boarders free to relax with friends.

The boarding day starts at 7:00am, with the boarding team on hand to help everyone get going.

Lessons run until 5:00pm, with a hot lunch that includes vegetarian choices, homemade soup, fruit salad and a salad bar.
End of the school day
Time to change and unwind back in house.

Arriving somewhere new takes a little time
Members of the Kingsley Family eat, study and relax together, and new arrivals settle quickly into that shared life.
Every new boarder is paired with someone who shows them the ropes.
Each boarder’s character development is recorded in the Boarding Passport, which is unique to Kingsley.
The house team knows every boarder, so there is always a familiar, friendly adult on hand.

Activities begin
Trips to the Devon coast, local beaches, national parks and tourist spots, and film nights at Bideford Cinema in the school theatre.
Both houses run the same daily rhythm
Our recently refurbished houses have study-bedrooms, bathrooms, recreational lounges, kitchen-cafes, a laundry and outdoor recreational space. Each house is well stocked with everyday essentials and locally sourced treats, so it feels like home.
Longfield House and Belvoir House both run this same daily rhythm, each with its own house team.
