Guidance runs across the whole of Sixth Form, not only in the final term. Pupils work with staff who know them well on course choices, personal statements, entrance tests and interviews, alongside advice on apprenticeships and alternative routes. The aim is a considered destination that suits the individual, chosen with good information and time to reflect.
We do not publish a figure or a place until it has been confirmed, and the list is dated and reviewed each year.

Focused mentoring for the most selective courses
For pupils aiming at the most selective courses, the school runs the Top Universities Programme: focused mentoring for Oxbridge, Medicine, Veterinary and Engineering applications, together with academic enrichment beyond the exam syllabus such as wider reading, super-curricular projects and preparation for admissions tests and interviews.
A particular aim of our STEM work is to encourage as many pupils as possible onto STEM degrees at the UK’s top universities, with the mentoring and subject stretch to match that ambition.
