Lessons include speaking practice, role-plays, photo description, translation, and written composition.

Assessment is by four exams in Listening, Speaking, Reading, and Writing, each worth 25 percent, with entry at Foundation or Higher tier. This follows the current AQA specification.
Where it leads
Where it leads
Spanish progresses to A Level Spanish in the Sixth Form and further language study, supporting university applications and international pathways. It pairs naturally with French for students keen to study more than one language.
