Support across the school is built on Quality First Teaching, differentiated learning and formative assessment. For children who need more, the team provides:
one-to-one and small-group intervention
support for social, emotional and mental health
bespoke literacy and numeracy programmes
assessment of a referred child, to understand strengths and needs before recommending support

Do you offer occupational therapy and speech and language therapy in school?
Yes. Both are provided in-house as part of the Connect Centre team. Anna Findley is our Occupational Therapist and Hazel Ireland is our Speech and Language Therapist.
Who is in the SEND team?
The SEND team brings together specialist teachers and support staff with our two in-house therapists, Anna Findley and Hazel Ireland. Together they assess children who are referred, deliver one-to-one and small-group intervention, and support pupils' social, emotional and mental health.
Is therapy included?
Therapy is part of the Connect Centre provision, which has its own fee schedule on our Fees and Optional Extras page. The SEND team or our Admissions team can explain what support your child would receive, and any costs involved, before anything is agreed.
