Surfing Scholarship

Kingsley sits in the UK's only officially recognised World Surf Reserve, and the Kingsley Surf Academy is the only one of its kind in the country. A Surfing Scholarship is for young surfers who want to train properly and share what surfing gives them with the rest of the school.

Who it’s for

The kind of young person we are looking for

We are looking for young people with a love of the ocean, a real passion for surfing, and an understanding and appreciation of the physical and mental health benefits surfing brings. You will have been an active surfer for twelve months or more, with the potential to develop your skills and understanding further. Scholars also mentor and coach younger and less experienced surfers, and promote surfing across the school.

What to send, and by when

Complete the Scholarship Application Form with a personal statement, a reference, and any relevant certificates and supporting documents. To receive an invitation for a scholarship interview, you must complete the application by 31st October 2026.
