Welcome to this week’s newsletter!

It’s been a wonderful week of celebration here at Kingsley. Last Friday, we enjoyed a fantastic Welcome Back Concert, showcasing the incredible talents of our Performing Arts Academy scholars. We also held our “Music on the Bridge” lunchtime concert series, which was a huge success. Next Friday, we’ll continue the musical excitement with our House Music Competition, and don’t forget the Teachers Rock Youth Choir on Tuesdays at 5.00 pm — open to all! On the sports front, a big congratulations to Charlotte (Year 8) for her success at the British Showjumping Ball (you can read more here), and well done to our netball and rugby teams for their impressive performances this week. Also, a special mention to our judoka team for their first-place win in the schools’ league, with Fletcher named player of the tournament.

Looking ahead, we’re excited for our Sixth Form Open Evening next Wednesday, where we’ll be welcoming both Year 11 students from Kingsley and Year 11 students from a number of schools across the region. You can read more about it here!
