Kingsley Judo Club Champions at the Kazoku Trophy Cup

Kingsley School Judo Club enjoyed a fantastic day of competition at the Kazoku Trophy Cup in Newquay, finishing in overall first place after a series of outstanding performances from our judoka.

The Kingsley team showed incredible skill, determination, and sportsmanship throughout the event, earning an impressive 7 Gold, 3 Silver, and 4 Bronze medals. These brilliant results secured Kingsley the Overall Team Champions Cup, a wonderful achievement and testament to the hard work and dedication of our athletes and coaches.

Every member of the team contributed to this success, producing exciting judo on the mat and demonstrating true Kingsley spirit in every contest. The day was filled with energy, commitment, and superb teamwork, a reflection of the club’s growing strength and unity.

huge thank you goes to Freddie, who was part of the event’s refereeing team and represented Kingsley superbly off the mat. His professionalism and contribution helped ensure the competition ran smoothly.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Kazoku team for organising such a well-run and enjoyable event. Their effort and hospitality made for a fantastic day of judo for all involved.
