Kingsley Friends: our Parents' Association

Kingsley Friends is our parents' association, a PTA of parents and teachers whose main aim is to strengthen the sense of community among Kingsley families. By bringing people together and raising funds, the Friends of Kingsley help support and shape the school, and have fun along the way.

What the PTA does

The events that bring everyone together

Throughout the year Kingsley Friends organises events where students and their families can get involved and celebrate being part of the school community, along with social events where parents and staff can get to know each other outside school.

  • The Bonfire Night Laser Show

  • The Christmas Fayre

  • The May Fayre

  • Social gatherings for parents and staff through the year

  • A well-stocked second-hand uniform shop, made possible by the generosity of Kingsley parents

What your support pays for

The extras that make school life richer

The money raised pays for projects beyond the everyday expectations of school life, adding to the welfare, happiness and enjoyment of our students. Recently, Kingsley Friends has funded:

  • Musical instruments

  • Christmas parties and presents for Prep children

  • VR headsets and Lego Spike kits for the Senior STEM pathway

  • Thousands of pounds towards initiatives in the Earth Centre

  • Contributions to sport, the arts and outdoor education

Getting involved

There is never any pressure to commit to anything

Everything Kingsley Friends does is run by volunteers, and new faces are always welcome. If you can spare a little time to help at one of our events, the team would love to hear from you. It is a lovely way to meet other families and support the school community.

You are very welcome to join us at a meeting or coffee morning to learn more, or email the PTA at pta@kingsleydevon.com.
