Mr Pavis' Video Newsletter: Friday 9th May

In this week’s Kingsley School newsletter, we’re coming to you from our beautiful theatre—fresh from the big reveal of next year’s school production! While we won’t spoil the surprise (honestly!), excitement is already building.

We also look back on a wonderful Kingsley tradition: the Spring May Fayre. Thank you to all the parents, extended families, performers, and PTA members—especially Jane, a parent from Year 7—for making the event such a success. From judo showcases to the first ever Spring photography competition, it was a joyful day for the whole community.

In sport, our U15 cricket team opened their season with a brilliant win, while the girls U14 and U15 rounders teams performed impressively in their fixtures placing 2nd. Elise and Kerenza performed at the esteemed South West Swimming Championships, placing 2nd and 7th respectively in their events.

STEM is full steam ahead with Year 7 students designing and preparing to race their solid-fuel foam rocket cars—supported by our Sixth Form STEM ambassadors.

We also celebrated our Exmoor Challenge teams, who completed a gruelling 17-mile trek across wild terrain last weekend. And this weekend, we send our very best to the Ten Tors teams taking on the Jubilee Challenge Plus, 35-mile and 45-mile routes on Dartmoor. Good luck to all the students taking part!
