Hello and welcome to this week's newsletter!

This week at Kingsley, we are celebrating an incredible achievement – the STEM Space Education Quality Mark Gold Award! Kingsley is now one of just four schools in the UK to receive this prestigious recognition, highlighting our dedication to science, technology, engineering, and maths (STEM). From robotics competitions to our Green Go-Kart Project, our students are thriving in hands-on, real-world STEM initiatives. A huge thank you to Mr Humphreys and the STEM team for leading the way!

STEM success extends beyond the classroom, with our surfing academy continuing their groundbreaking work on sustainable surfboard production, earning both national and international awards. Meanwhile, our advanced surfers have been tackling the biggest waves in over a decade at Croyde, sharpening their water safety knowledge.

On the sports front, it’s been another action-packed week. Kingsley hosted the Inter-Schools Gymnastics Competition, where our teams secured gold, silver, and bronze medals. Our netball teams put up strong performances, including a win for the U17s against Blundell’s. In rugby, congratulations to Sennen, who has joined Exeter Chiefs’ Development Squad, joining Hamish in this exciting pathway. Our football teams had mixed results in their inter-schools tournament on the Grenville Pitch, while our judokas were honoured at a fantastic awards evening.

The Performing Arts Academy is in full swing as we count down to our school production of Fame! next week. We also wish Alfie the best of luck as he competes in the ISA National Young Musician Finals in Oxford.
