Filled with exciting updates and achievements from the Kingsley community.

We began the week on a high note as Kingsley was a proud finalist at the ISA National Awards 2024. While we didn’t secure first place this year, we were thrilled to receive recognition for our sustainability and environmentalism efforts, especially the Kingsley Centre Diploma for Years 7-9.

On Wednesday, our music and drama scholars took to the stage for a stunning Scholars Concert in the theatre. Their exceptional performances captivated the audience, and we’re incredibly proud of their talent and hard work.

Our sports teams and athletes continued to excel. The U16 rugby team delivered an impressive performance at the North Devon Rugby Tournament, making it to the final and conceding only seven points throughout the competition. Meanwhile, our judoka, David, Willow, and Fletcher, have qualified for the National Judo Finals in Sheffield. In swimming, Elise, Harrison, and Elvis earned places at the ISA National Swimming Finals, which will take place at the Olympic Pool later this year. Our gymnasts, Maddie and Jesse, also continue their preparations for national competitions, showcasing their dedication and skill.

A big thank you goes to our PTA for organising last week’s Fireworks Night, which was a spectacular success. A special shoutout to staff members who played a key role in making the event memorable for all.

As we wrap up the week, we wish the best of luck to our Year 11 and Year 13 students who are continuing their exams.
