Despite the rain, spirits were high at Kingsley this week, with our fireworks evening lighting up the skies and leaving a lasting impression. Huge thanks go to the PTA for organising such a smooth, exciting event.

Our Health & Social Care students visited Bridge House, and our GCSE Geographers returned from a packed trip to London Docklands. Tuesday’s Open Day welcomed prospective families, who also had the chance to witness our Remembrance Service—a moving and respectful moment, with readings in multiple languages and a standout performance from the brass band.

Wednesday evening saw the Scholars Concert and Art Showcase take centre stage, with our drama, music, and art students presenting a stunning range of work. From ancient Greek tragedy to modern Disney, the talent on display was immense.

Out on the pitch, Year 5 and 6 pupils from across the region braved the wet and windy weather for our ISA Tag Rugby Festival. Our own sports teams continued to shine: the boys’ senior football team remain unbeaten, our U14 footballers cruised through to round three of the English Schools FA Cup, and our netballers secured another strong win. Big mentions go to Ruby, Otis, Riley, and Griff for their standout performances.

This weekend brings the West of England Judo Tournament, the start of Ten Tors training, and a go-karting adventure for our boarders. With pumpkin carving, wool teasing, and bread making also on the agenda this week, it’s been a wonderful mix of creativity and energy throughout the school.
