Mr Pavis' Video Newsletter: Friday 13th February

As we reach the end of another action-packed half term here at Kingsley, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on everything we’ve achieved together over the past six weeks.

From classrooms to sports fields, studios to the surf, life at Kingsley has been full of energy, creativity, and progress. I’ve seen students studying hard, revising, analysing, and problem-solving — pushing themselves to achieve their very best in every subject. I’ve watched them rehearse, perform, act, sing, dance, sketch, film, and create — bringing imagination and confidence to everything they do.

It’s also been a half term filled with outstanding sporting moments. Our students have trained, competed, coached, swum, run, tumbled, scored, and celebrated together — all while showing true determination, teamwork, and pride in representing the school.

What really stands out, though, is the sense of community and kindness that runs through everything we do. From volunteering and fundraising to mentoring and leading, our students have shown compassion and initiative at every turn. They’ve also embraced the outdoors — surfing, climbing, hiking, kayaking, and exploring the incredible environment we’re lucky enough to have on our doorstep.

This half term has been about so much more than achievement. It’s been about appreciation, connection, activity, generosity, and learning — the five values that define us as a Kingsley community. With the sun shining and a well-earned break ahead, I wish everyone a wonderful half term holiday. I look forward to seeing you all back at school on Monday 23rd February for another exciting chapter.
