Welcome back and Happy New Year from us at Kingsley!

This term begins with incredible news on both the academic and expansive curriculum fronts. We’re thrilled to report the best progress grades on record over the past five years, with positive value-added scores across all year groups. A huge thank you to our students for their hard work and to our staff for their outstanding support.

Our expansive curriculum continues to shine as well, with a recent mental health survey showing Kingsley exceeding national averages in 70% of measured areas. These results highlight the success of our five pathways – Performing Arts, STEM, Sport, Outdoor Education, and Earth Centre – in promoting mental wellbeing and character development.

This week, the Performing Arts pathway welcomed the Box Theatre Company for engaging workshops as part of our Arts Mark accreditation journey. Congratulations to Alfie in Year 10 for reaching the national finals of the ISA Music Competition, taking place in February – an incredible achievement!

In STEM, Year 8 students are gearing up for the Faraday Challenge next week, where they will pursue an Industrial Cadet Challenger Award. We look forward to seeing their creativity and innovation in action.

A big thank you to parents for supporting the new traffic flow scheme, ensuring a safer environment for everyone. Marked pedestrian zones and improved parking make our campus even more welcoming.
