Bonjour from Kingsley! A French Breakfast to Remember

Last week, our students embarked on a culinary journey to France without leaving Bideford! As part of our Languages Week celebrations, we hosted a delightful French breakfast.

The aroma of freshly baked croissants and pain au chocolat filled the air as students eagerly gathered around the tables. They savoured the authentic flavours of French pastries, accompanied by a cup of steaming hot chocolate.

Our French teacher, Madame Toubin-Whale and Spanish teacher, Miss Williams have led lively discussion about French food culture. Students learned about the ingredients used, the traditional methods of preparation, and the cultural significance of enjoying a leisurely breakfast in France.

The French breakfast was a delightful experience that allowed our students to immerse themselves in French culture. It was a delicious way to celebrate the beauty and diversity of the French language.
