Kingsley School is seeking a friendly, organised and detail-focused Finance Office Assistant to join our busy and supportive Finance Team.

About the Role
Working closely with our Finance Office Manager and Business & Commercial Director, you will play an important role in the smooth running of the school's financial operations.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Processing supplier invoices and managing accounts payable.
- Preparing and monitoring school fee invoices and payments.
- Supporting credit control and the collection of outstanding payments.
- Assisting with payroll administration and statutory returns.
- Maintaining accurate financial records and nominal ledger entries.
- Supporting the preparation of monthly departmental budget reports.
- Recording school credit card transactions and monitoring utility costs.
- Providing general financial and administrative support across the department.
About You
We are looking for someone who is reliable, approachable, highly organised and comfortable working with numbers.
You will bring:
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong numeracy, literacy and administrative skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- The ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
- A professional and discreet approach to confidential information.
- A flexible, positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues.
- Confidence working independently and collaboratively.
Previous experience in a finance office, accounts administration or a similar role would be advantageous, although we also welcome applications from candidates with strong transferable skills and a willingness to learn.
