Beginners do not need to buy their own surf equipment to start at Kingsley. The Surf Academy provides the kit needed for each session, including Softech boards, surf skates, wetsuits, Dryrobes and neoprene accessories suited to surfing in UK waters all year round.
Good equipment keeps surfers comfortable and safe in the water, and it makes for better sessions. As a child settles into the sport, families can lease or buy a wetsuit of their own and find an affordable first board on the second-hand rack.

Our dedicated Surf Shop offers discounts on leading brands, including O'Neill, FCS and Softech, so families can buy kit of their own at a better price as a young surfer progresses.

Progress carries on between sessions
Beyond the water, the Surf Fit Suite supports strength and conditioning, and practice on land helps surfers work on balance and technique through the colder months. The Surf Academy's facilities also include a Shaping Bay.
