Welcome to this week's video newsletter! I'm delighted to update you on our Active Travel drive, an initiative started last year to encourage a more scenic and less congested journey for parents and students arriving at school. We are progressing to phase two, which includes designated parking for pick-up and drop-off times. Expect more updates soon as we continue to enhance safety around the school premises.
This weekend, good luck to our three teams participating in the Exmoor Challenge at Dulverton. They will tackle a 16-mile hike, a testament to their dedication and preparation. Also, a reminder for our athletes and Sports Scholars: the upcoming Nutrition Workshop is on Wednesday—don't forget your nutrition diaries!
In arts news, we've had a record number of students from the senior school participate in the LAMDA exams this term, with everyone achieving outstanding results—merit or distinction. As our Arts Award program progresses, we anticipate our first cohort achieving their bronze certificates next year.
Finally, an exciting teaser for our school community—the reveal of this year’s senior school show is imminent. Though I can’t share details yet, here’s a hint from a nostalgic song: "I'm going to live forever. I'm going to learn how to fly." Stay tuned for more details, and thank you for joining me today. Have a fantastic weekend, and remember, more updates are on the way!
