Sports Administrator

30 hours per week, term-time + 6 weeks (40 weeks total)

£16,675 per annum

We are seeking an organised, proactive, and enthusiastic Sports Administrator to join our team and play a key role in delivering a vibrant and successful sports programme across both the Prep and Senior Schools.

The successful candidate will coordinate fixtures and events, manage facilities and resources, liaise with staff, external partners, and governing bodies, and ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the Sports Hub. This role also includes acting as the South-West Area Sports Co-ordinator for the Independent Schools Association (ISA), providing full administrative support for regional competitions and attending ISA National Finals.

Strong administrative, communication, and organisational skills are essential, along with a genuine passion for sport and education. Finance Office Assistant

Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 9.00am-5.00pm, 35 weeks per year

£12.21 per hour

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and motivated Finance Office Assistant to join our busy finance team at Kingsley School. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with strong organisational and numerical skills who enjoys working in a varied role within a supportive school environment.

Working closely with the Finance Office Manager and Business Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the finance office and maintaining accurate financial records.

Main Responsibilities

  • Process and manage supplier accounts, ensuring all expenditure is authorised and compliant with VAT and statutory regulations.
  • Produce and monitor fee invoices and payments for Kingsley School.
  • Assist with debt control and maintain accurate financial data in the Nominal Ledger.
  • Support the timely and accurate processing of school payroll, ensuring all statutory deadlines are met.
  • Help prepare monthly departmental budget reports.
  • Maintain and update utilities cost control spreadsheets and post credit card transactions.
  • Provide general support within the finance office, including holiday cover and assistance during busy periods.

Are you caring, energetic, and passionate about early childhood development? We’re looking for a dedicated Nursery Assistant to join our warm and nurturing team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the planning and delivery of play-based learning activities for children aged 0-5
  • Assist with daily routines including mealtimes, nappy changes, sleep times and hygiene
  • Observe, record and support children’s developmental progress
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and stimulating environment
  • Build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
  • Help with set-up, tidying, and preparation of resources

About You:

  • A genuine love for working with young children
  • Patience, kindness, and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently when needed
  • Relevant childcare qualification (e.g. NVQ Level 3 in Early Years) is essential

EYFS Practitioner Job Description


Higher Level Teaching Assistant

42.5 hours per week, 35 weeks per year

Range £21,998 to £22,422 depending on relevant Level 4 qualification.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our bespoke Connect Centre team. You will work closely with our SENDCo, teachers, and external professionals to support students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

This is a rewarding role where you will:

  • Support students in small classes (1:4) and in smaller group or 1:1 settings.
  • Plan and deliver lessons or targeted interventions.
  • Help students develop confidence, independence, and essential skills.
  • Lead classes in the teacher’s absence, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Work with families and outside agencies to ensure every child’s needs are met.

No two days are the same – you’ll be making a real difference to young people’s education and well-being.

What We’re Looking For

  • HLTA qualification (Level 4 or equivalent) – or willingness to work towards it.
  • Experience supporting students with SEND (e.g. autism, ADHD, dyslexia, physical or medical needs).
  • Knowledge of inclusive teaching strategies and current SEND practice.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to supporting students.
