Kingsley School is thrilled to announce exceptional GCSE results, reflecting the dedication of its students and the school's commitment to excellence.

This year's cohort delivered a remarkable performance, securing excellent grades across all subjects.  Impressively, the average GCSE grade at Kingsley has risen by 2.5 grades compared to just three years ago. This significant improvement highlights the dedication of both students and staff.  Languages were a particular strength, with an outstanding achievement of 78% of students attaining a 9 and a staggering 89% securing coveted grades 7, 8 & 9.

Among the many individual achievements:
Beth, a dedicated student, secured the grades required to pursue her passion for English Literature, Psychology, and Spanish at A-Level. Beth’s Mum, Mrs Sequoia said: "We have been so impressed with the school and the opportunities it has provided for Beth. We are thrilled with her results today."

Twins Morgan and Flynn are both returning to Kingsley for Sixth Form. While Morgan sets his sights on Medicine with Chemistry, Biology, and Geography, Flynn pursues his dream of becoming a helicopter pilot with a focus on Chemistry, Geography, and Business.

Ollie achieved a fantastic result of three 9s, five 8s, and a 6. Ollie credited Kingsley's supportive atmosphere and dedicated teachers for his success. Ollie said: “Kingsley is a good place; it’s boosted my confidence and my grades. My teachers are nice people, they understand their students and how to teach and get information to stick in our heads! He will be continuing his academic journey at Kingsley, studying Psychology, Music, and Art A-Levels before aiming to read Music at Berlin University.

Leo, a qualified surf coach, balanced his passion with impressive academic results. He will be returning to Kingsley for A-Level studies before applying to Exeter University to study Law.  Leo’s Mum, Mrs Srisaeng said: “Honestly, WOW! Leo has worked incredibly hard and the culture at Kingsley has helped that, it really did.”  After briefly celebrating his GCSE success, Leo rushed off to Westward Ho! Beach to fulfil his summer duties as a surf coach!

Headmaster Rob Pavis expressed his immense pride: "This morning was filled with smiles and excitement as our Year 11 students received their results.  We are incredibly proud of every one of them. Their hard work and dedication, combined with the support of our exceptional teaching staff, have led to these exceptional achievements.  We look forward to seeing them embark on the next chapter of their journeys and following their future successes."
