Year 11 GCSE Geography Trip to South Devon

Our group of 35 Year 11 geographers has returned safely from a three-day residential trip in Slapton, South Devon. During their stay, they conducted two geographical enquiries as part of their GCSE course. One focused on the varying quality of life in rural areas, while the other examined coastal processes along the stunning beaches at Torcross and Slapton Ley.

The students had packed schedules, with long and exhausting days conducting fieldwork and classroom activities at the Field Studies Council Centre. Despite the rigorous programme, they approached each task with enthusiasm and dedication.

We received wonderful feedback from the centre staff, who praised the polite and hardworking nature of our students. Their conduct left us feeling incredibly proud.

Thank you to the Kingsley team, including Mr. Whaley, Emma Pickett, and Jack Harty, for planning and leading the students on this trip.
