Kingsley Students Celebrate Record-Breaking A Level Results

There were scenes of joy and pride at Kingsley School this morning as students collected what has become the school’s best-ever set of A Level results.

With a record-breaking number of top grades (A*-A), this year’s achievements mark another leap forward in our academic journey - a testament to the dedication of our staff, the commitment of our students, and the investment we’ve made in academic excellence over the past three years.

Celebrating Exceptional Achievements

Among the standout individual performances:

  • Alfie: A* A* A* A* – heading to Warwick University to study Pure Mathematics.

  • Alvin: A A A – off to Bristol to study Aerospace Engineering.

  • Ari: A* A A – set to read Physics at UCL.

  • Freddie: 2 Distinction* – joining BIMM in Bristol for Music Performance.

  • Kate: A* A B B – celebrating a strong set of results.

  • Zach: Successfully gained a place at Marjon to study Sport Business Management, a reflection of his perseverance and resilience.

  • Grace: A B B – preparing to study Paramedic Science in Bristol.

Academic Strength Across the Board

Subjects such as History, English, MFL, Art, and Photography recorded A*-B grades for 95% of students – a remarkable achievement that underscores the strength of our teaching and the ambition of our students.

The majority of our leavers are now confirming their university places, with many securing their first-choice destinations.

A Message from the Headteacher

“These are incredible results,” said Headteacher Mr Rob Pavis. “On what has been a relatively short journey to drive academic outcomes upwards, this reflects the passion of our teaching staff and the determination of our students. I look forward to hearing all about the future achievements of our Class of 2025.”

A Culture of Aspiration and Belonging

At Kingsley, our mission has always been clear: to enable every student to achieve success and happiness through positive mental health, a nurturing community, and a curriculum that celebrates academic challenge alongside individual passions. These results are more than just letters on paper; they represent dreams realised, barriers overcome, and young people ready to thrive in the world ahead.

Congratulations to all our students, families, and staff who helped make this milestone possible. You make Kingsley proud.
