Mr Pavis' Video Newsletter: Friday 21st March

Welcome to this week’s Kingsley newsletter, filled with outstanding student achievements across sport, music, drama and more!

We begin with incredible news from the British Gymnastics Championships—a huge congratulations to Jesse, who earned a silver medal at the national level. In netball, our girls continue to shine. At the recent PGL Tournament, our Under-13 team took home gold, while the Under-14s and Under-15s also delivered top performances. This success continued into the week, with strong wins across multiple age groups and standout players including Lily and Sissy.

In football, our senior team triumphed over Stover, with Max named player of the season, and students of all ages took part in an Adaptive Football Festival at FA HQ in Newton Abbot. On the rugby pitch, our Under-15s reached the Devon Shield Final, finishing runners-up after a fierce match against Ivybridge.

In music, we wish Sophie the best as she performs at Exeter Cathedral with the Devon Youth Orchestra. We also send good luck to students sitting their ABRSM music exams this weekend and to the prep school pupils preparing for a joint music festival with West Buckland School.

Academically, Kingsley will host a Stretch and Challenge Day for students from across Devon, giving participants the chance to push their potential in creative and academic disciplines.

Our Inter-House Drama Competition also took centre stage this week, showcasing fantastic student talent, and we look forward to next Thursday’s Year 3 & 4 production of “Sherlock & Cinders” in the school theatre.

A week filled with success, creativity, and celebration—thank you to all the students and staff making it happen. Have a wonderful weekend!
