Mr Pavis' Video Newsletter: Friday 20th September

Welcome to this week’s newsletter! It’s been a fantastic enrichment week at Kingsley Devon. In the Food Tech room, our students have been learning new cooking skills, and I can’t wait to try some of their dishes! We’ve had students participating in a range of activities, including the Duke of Edinburgh expeditions, with the silver group still out on the moors, and our geographers witnessing the Northern Lights in Iceland. Other highlights include math challenges, children’s book creations, taiko drumming, STEM activities, and environmental projects.

Our sports teams have also had a stellar week, with the senior rugby team securing victories against teams from Millfield, Blundells and Exeter College, following the success of the netball and under-15 rugby teams last week. A personal highlight was the inter-house “It’s a Knockout” competition, part of the Charles Kingsley Wellbeing Cup.
