Belvoir Houseparent since 2021

The day I came for my interview at Kingsley, I instinctively knew I was somewhere extremely special and I couldn’t wait to come back. Fundamentally we think differently, we care enormously and we’re not afraid to break the mould to create something exceptional! We take the best aspects of a traditional boarding education and mix it with what will serve our boarders now and in the world they will face as adults. We are as invested in your child’s education as you are and we strive to get what we offer right for every individual!

Assistant Head since 2023

Before joining Kingsley I was Head of Biology and pastoral lead, after stepping down from being a houseparent to start a family. I have been Belvoir houseparent since 2021 and Director of Boarding since 2023. I live onsite in Belvoir House with my husband Ash and our 2 children as well as around 30 female boarders. 

Outside of boarding, I have taught and been an academic tutor for boys and girls of all age groups as well as tutor co-ordinator for Year 7 and head of key stage 4. This gives me a really important understanding of the academic demands on your child at each stage of school, how best to support them pastorally whilst encouraging their independence and readying them for the world after they leave Kingsley.
